Curriculum (english)


Born in Brasil, in Salvador and grown up in Trieste, Ms. Pobega had studied singing in Trieste with R. Susovski, O. Serafini, and P. Scacciati.

She then concentrates on Musical Theatre under the tutelage of Shawna Farrell, director of the Bernstein School of Musical Theater in Bologna (BSMT), at theGuildford School of Acting (GSA), with Mary Setrakian (Italy and New York) , with Nathan Martin (London), Ceris Deverill (ArtsEd), Leontin Hass (London) and Matthew Shaw (Dance Attic).

Ms. Pobega has also studied Berklee Summer School’s Umbria Jazz Clinics with Donna McElroyand Dennis Montgomery III, who awarded her with a special diploma for her “Outstanding Musicianship”.

She has participated in the gospel seminars of renowned singer Cheryl Porter, with whom she also took part of her 2008 “Gospel Christmas Tour” and performed as a member of the group “Vox Box Singers”.

She was also able to attend the Higher Education Course “Vocologia Artistica” that took place in Ravenna (University of Bologna), directed by Dr. Giovanni MazzottiDr. Franco Fussi and Dr. Silvia Magnani.


In 2004, Daniela Pobega debuted at the Friuli Venezia Giulia Theatre, Il Rossetti, in “A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM”, as directed by Antonio Calenda, with music by Maestro Germano Mazzocchetti.

Later in 2004, she played the Blue Fairy in the Compagnia della Rancia’s touring production of“PINOCCHIO: IL GRANDE MUSICAL”, directed by Saverio Marconi, with choreography by Fabrizio Angelini and music by the Pooh.

After touring for two years, she was cast in the role of Chiffon in “LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS”, as directed by Federico Bellone and Giorgio Secoli and choreographed by Gillian Bruce.

In the 2006-2007 season, she was in the italian cast of “JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR”, direction and cohoreography by Fabrizio Angelini, also as a Compagnia della Rancia’s production. 

In the 2009/2010 season, she made her first international tour, again as part of the “PINOCCHIO”company, at the Opera Theatre of  Seoul Arts Centre, later returning to tour in the show’s Italian circuit.
In the 2010/2011 season, she went to “The Kaye Playhouse” of New York with “PINOCCHIO THE ITALIAN MUSICAL”.
In the same year she plays the role of Keisha in the Stage Entertainment italian production of“FLASHDANCE”, directed by Federico Bellone, with the supervision of Glenn Casale and choreography by Gail Davies.

She has originated the role of Nala, in the Madrid Original Cast of  “THE LION KING” that opened the 21st Octuber 2011, at Lope de Vega Theatre, producted by Stage Entertainement Spain.

In Madrid, she took part of the show HUMAN AGAIN, produced by Broadway World Spain, in the Nuevo Alcalá Theatre.

In the summer 2014 Daniela played Sarah in the musical RAGTIME, at Teatro Comunale of Bologna, directed by Gianni Marras, musically directed by Shawna Farrell and conductor Stefano Squarzina.

After the roles of Nala and Sarah, she played Elizabeth, the leading singer in the italian production of “DIRTY DANCING” by Wizard and, after a short running of Peter Pan at the LinearCiak in Milan, directed by Maurizio Colombi, as Tiger Lily, she’s asked by the english producers to play Elizabeth again but  in the “DIRTY DANCING” UK Tour and at the Phoenix Theatre in London (West End).
